Its Speak Truth Friday: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor circumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free; But Christ is all, and in all. In Body
I wake to another day
For this is the day the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
I will take the time to pray
Then take the time to say
This too shall pass
I shall overcome
In showing this cancer I have won
I am in control
God has mercy on my soul
The Lord’s blessings will see me through
There are many things in this world I’m gonna do
I will begin by taking care of my body
Feed my soul, hold on with hope and never let go
Nevertheless
The sun will continue to rise
And so will I
When storms come
Quietly hold me gently in your arms
When the moon whispers to the stars
Say a prayer for me
Now until eternity
If I am weak
Fragile or feeling alone
Help me to carry on
When my hair has fallen out
Tell me again and again
It’s ok my friend
Your beauty lies outside and within
In yesterdays, today and to morrows
Morning, noon and night
Never the less I’m giving my best
Monthly to years in flight
I will continue to fight
For the light of the world lives in me
Treasure given, love in stored
Deep inside my soul
Hope take control
Faith leads me on
Until the Messiah brings me home
Nevertheless I’ve been blessed
I’ve been giving chances
Given days, months and years
To let you know how I feel
How I’m gonna keep it real
Stand Your Ground
Here on earth’s battle field
You gotta learn how to live
Learn how to give
Hold on to what matters
Hold on to what really counts
Discover truth
It lies deep within
It never gives in
Forget who told you
You shouldn’t
You couldn’t
Don’t let them bring you down
Your battle is won
March onto the sounds of the mystical drums
When the storms come
Daily stand your grounds
Let bless set you free
To be who God created you to be
Let trouble waters come
For the battle is already won
You were made for a purpose
Continue to stand your ground
Don’t let what they say bring you down
God is not through with you yet
Hold on
Stand strong
Standing your ground
True Colors of Hope
Morning beautiful
I hope everything is all right with you
Thank God for watching over you
Grace and mercy strength prevailed
Forgiveness and faith proclaimed
Hope unveils
Another opportunity to share
Another chance to care
One more chance to dance
To show in advance
True colors of hope
Afternoon sexy
Hope your feeling well
Thank God for hearing my prayers
Mercy and grace gave comfort
Faith and forgiveness held time
Hope never failed
Another opportunity to share
One more chance to dance
To show in advance
Hope’s true colors
True colors of hope
Of never letting go
I stretch my hands to thee
For in you I finally see
Hope was meant to be
I shall not run
I shall see
Not stumble
I shall hear and not ignore
Awake my spirit
Holy one
Heed to my cries
Love is by my side
One step at a time.
Let me remember hope
Then tell me so
The battle ain’t mines
Victory comes
Thy will be done
Praise praises thee
I will believe
This battle ain’t mines
Here Comes the Sun
I can feel it whispering through the winds
Fighting to be seen
Shortly after the storms made itself known
After the rain refused to go away
The sun finally took its place
Here comes the sun to take my blues away.
Granting me chances to walk where the green grass sprout
The water waves cross
I can see it sitting south of the sky
Shining with all its might
Shortly after the ice melted
After the snow went away
The sun finally found its place
Here comes the sun, to help me carry on
As Your Days, So is Your Strength
An unwanted call circuits my home
Memories of who I used to be
What I used to do.
Things I would, wouldn’t want to choose
Yesterday brought familiar feelings
Thoughts I thought I forgot
People thought to forget
What measure met
At times misunderstood.
What I experience
At time misunderstood
Wishing wishes were no good
Pain came throughout the day
Still I prayed
Insecurities remembered faith.
Hope said don’t let it go.
Set yourself free.
A voice from above whispered whispers to me
As your day
So your strength
As you grow
You will know
Of resting in the arms of a wondrous God
The prince of peace is not far
Comfort’s consolation let freedom to ring.
In your life so it be
As your days
So is your strength
Never forget this.
Hang Tough
When life’s winds blew strongly
Hang tough.
Stand strong.
Know you’re not alone.
If sorrows continue to call your name.
Telling you your life will never change
Shouting words untrue
Knowingly
You no longer do the things you used to do.
You don’t say the things you used to say
You prayed
Jah made anew
Inside of you
Hang Tough
You may
You must
Though winds grew stronger
Darkness will exceed
To tempt thee
Sins confessed
Passionate dreams are met
Mold to shape
The fighter inside
The hope within
Hang tough begins
Refusing to give up
Decline to give in
From the beginning until the end
Though the wind of winds blew
It got rough
You still hung on
You stood in warrior’s pose
With your head held high
You hanged tough
Refusing to give up.
Decline to give in
From the beginning until the end
While the winds of temptation blew
You held on.
When it got rough.
You carried on
You stood your grounds
Always with your head held high
In warriors’ pose.
Never to let go.
Worth Fighting 4
Today I will say
Last night I prayed
For strength, courage and reasons why
I should hold on every day of my life
Stand strong when I feel alone
On my own
Tis til to to morrows shined its face
Remember peace is God’s resting place
Worth fighting for.
On Monday hold Jah’s hand
Trying to understand
What you were created for
Heaven opens all doors
On Tuesday I made plans
I wrote my goals
I spoke of my dreams
Held on to hope
Once more
On Wednesday time remind me of the hurt
Pain, struggles
Trials and tribulations among myself and others
Thursday said try again
Don’t let yesterday’s hardship lead you astray
Hold on to see to morrows face
Remember each day
God gives new mercy and new grace
To help us make it another day
On Friday inspiring songs comfort my spirit
Pleasantly mode endureth
On Saturday I had to meditate
Forgive myself and others mistake
Learned suffering brought strength and courage
Revealed the fighter within me
I accept how it’s suppose to be
The many scenarios in my life
Yeshua sacrifice
For my life
Sunday arrived
I prayed for strength and courage
Reasons why
Must I
May I
Knowing at times I felt alone
I need love to help me carry on
Each passing day
To morrows is the way
I await for truth to show its face
The Messiah to say
I go prepare you a place
Keep holding on to unchanging hands
Knowing some day you will understand
Some day you will see peace before thee
Light taught
Misery forgot
Hope shone once more so you will know
Refused to let it go
Refused to let hurt, pain and struggles led you astray
Look forward to seeing to morrows face
Thank the Lord for new mercy
New grace
Blessings every day
Thankfulness
The comforter mend your broken spirit
Fixed your broken heart
Guided you in this life
Acceptance of the creator’s creation created
As heaven opened its doors
To a life worth fighting for
Guide Me Through
Through the loneliness and pain
Through being ignored
During times I needed hope
I needed love
I needed comfort from above
While I’m angry
Frustrated and filled with despair.
Help me to hear, guide me there
Teach me to care
Heal me everywhere
Guide me through
Help me make it through
When life’s test does what it has to do
What it has to do
Never Know
Yesterday never told tomorrow what may bring.
To morrows never tells today anything.
Each month is filled with surprises.
A new place to feel pain.
A different position to lay after I prayed
For the comfort to take distress away
One year didn’t go so well
Next year blessed
Another day to live
Plenty of time to give
The gift of life met I twice
Starlight shining bright
Tomorrow never told yesterday what may bring
Today never told tomorrow anything
Together in Body
You hold a treasure deep within
Longing to be fed, begging to unveil
A gift more valuable then anything on earth
Richer then any millionaire
It whispers let me take you there
To unite you in spirit
Together in body
Mind and soul
As healing takes control
Ye held this treasure deep inside
Keeping it alive
You daily fed what you spirit needs
It opened your heart, eyes, ears and mind
To unite you in spirit
Before its time
I hope you enjoy these poems.
We all need words of inspiration and encouragement.
To help us carry on.
No matter what you may be going through.
I know the Lord will see you through.
You’re in my prayers,

The Quest of the Messengers-Chapter 1-The Vision Quest
May 4th, 2012 § Leave a Comment
Chapter One-The Vision Quest
Summer, winter, spring and rain.
Embraced each season across the lands.
The global prodigy has not returned.
Billions left starving, homeless, neglected, thirsty, broke.
Depressed anxious, abducted, murdered, and lost and confused.
Thrown away after being used.
The rape of the world is hungry for love.
Crying for affection.
Longing for attention.
Separation, earth’s name.
The generation of frustration and pain.
Always pointing the finger.
Giving the blame.
Too many refuse to carry their cross.
Carry their shame.
Yesterdays blindness.
Today killing in the name.
Too many are deaf and unable to hear.
The Messiah calling for them.
How many souls are born again?
How many will discover hope?
Before Anti-Christ comes knocking at the door.
Upon earth’s battlefields.
Legion came to steal, to rob, to kill.
What did not belong to him.
The Quest of the Messengers are chosen.
Assignments, signed, sealed, delivered.
Upon Mount Deganawida.
The great peacemaker has prophesied.
To bring forth fruition.
Declare hope.
For all souls

Fight4You-Chapter 3-Family Matters
I led her to my bedroom to see the drawing I had been working on.
When we entered the room none of our family members were around.
That was a relief.
While she was standing against the wall I stood in front of her to express myself.
Julian: I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting these days.
I care about you too.
I don’t want to do anything to make you cry.
Its just knowing you had a boyfriend upset me.
Carmen: Why did it upset you?
Julian: Cause I wanna be your boyfriend.
Carmen smiled then wet her lips in the sexiest way.
I pulled her in closer to me.
We started to kiss slowly.
First with our lips then with our tongue.
We shared affectionateness.
When no one came knocking at my bedroom door our comfort turned intensive.
After our kiss I began to kiss her neck and caress her breast with my lips gently.
Then slightly hard.
Her moans grew excessively.
Each breath gave moisture to she and I.
Before removing my hand from loving and touching her.
I raised her dress on the right side while holding onto her waist with my left arm.
I placed two of my fingers inside Carmen.
She held me tighter as I continued to match the movements of her hips.
Soon her moans rang in ecstasy, erotically.
When she came, I came too.

Creative Heart
Nothing can stop the beating of my creative heart
Watch how you made me cry
Watch how you lie
Watch how you made pain hurt inside
I’ve known of your rejections
Since I was young
I know of them now
Your objection to who I am
Who I was meant to be
Really don’t matter to me
Still you try
To destroy me
Hate me
When you don’t know me at all
Absent in the body
Present in the spirit
I pray I be
I pray you be
To
Nothing can stop the beating of my creative heart
You don’t hear my words
You don’t show me love
You don’t treat me like I treat you
Day in
Day out
I watch mistreatment everywhere
Bullies still bullying
Stealer still stealing
Users still using
In the land of the so call free
How can this be
When freedom is within
You can’t give it to me
You can’t create it for me
Damn man
Just let me be
Watch how you tell me about you
Watch how you invite me to
Watch how you ask me to
Watch how you forgot
How you treated me
I won’t hold it against you
I forgive you
I forget you
I dismiss you
What we reap
Is what we so
Didn’t you know
We were created to love one another
Be there for one another
In the time of need
This is not happening to me
This is not occurring here
Not anywhere
Love they brother
As thy love thyself
Love thy sister
As thy love thyself
Hell I think you ignored that memo
Or you just slow
Its a damn shame
Its ridiculous
How you put your trust in man
You don’t understand
Today I won’t share truth with you
Thats something you must do
On your own
Damn man
You grown
Act like it
Talk like
Walk like it
When I was a child
I did childish things
When I became a man
I put those childish things away
You don’t hear me
When I was a child
I did childish things
But when I became a man
I put those childish things away
You refuse to seek
Truth
Yes truth
The Truth can set you free
Watch how you refuse to give me my props
Watch how you refuse to say
Alright
Watch how you refuse to say
You know you right
We reap is what we sow
Didn’t you know
Thats to damn bad
I gotta go
Before
You try to take my creative heart away
Not today
But you gon try anyway
I can’t
I can’t believe
The things I’ve encounter
The people I’ve seen
My trust level
Could never fix
I say never
Cause of hope
I hope
I trust
Only in Jah
To say I trust
Some people in this world
Who cared
Who shared
Be there for me
In the time of need
I don’t see
Nor do I believe
Any are here
None are near
Me
Every time I try
Try to move forward
You knock me down
Every time I dream
You pushed away
Every time I get excited
Creative
My goals
My goals fade
But I keep on trying
Any ways
I asked the church to help me
You dismissed me
I asked for help
With my health
You ignored me
I asked to protect me
Make me feel safe
You left me
You left me alone
All alone
On my own
Unable to say
There is someone
Someone to inspire me
Someone to motivate me
Someone to appreciate me
Who I am
What I compose
You don’t know my heart
You don’t know my soul
Move away
Move away
Away
I no longer have the desire to interact with other people
Play along to your damn song
But I keep holding on
Night hours asked why
Day hour said
You only live once
Cause when you die
When you go to sleep
You can no longer recite
Bring into existence
Compose
Master have mercy on my soul
I can’t
I can’t embrace ignorance
I can’t
I can’t embrace lies
I only embrace how you made me feel inside
Do I cry?
On some days
When I can’t
Did I forget you were human too
No
Did you?
I can’t
Believe how my life has been
I spent
In defense
I spent too many years
Looking for love
In all the wrong places
Too many abusive faces
Used me
Made a fool of me
Never cared
Nor wanted me
No help for me
You can’t see
Your blinded
Your deafness
Separate you from me
Today is the same
But I place no blame
Just remember the pain
The shame
I went through
It had to prove
Show you who I am today
Its not because of you
Not because of me
People you just don’t see
But
I won’t
I will not
I can’t
Explain to you
When
You don’t care
You don’t share
You don’t be there for each other
In the time of need
I can’t
I can’t believe
All I have seen
Every time my Master pick me up
You knock me back down
Every time I in vision success
You washed it away
Every time I get happy
Creative
My dreams fade
But I keep on trying
Any ways
One day
Someday
I won’t
I will not
I can’t
Cause I won’t be here

Yesterday
I’m remembering
My childhood days
I held anger inside
One through five
Seems like all my life
In day care
I’m turning over tables
Because of you
This was the way
To express
The anger I felt towards you
For doing what you did
To me
I was a child
You made me hurt myself
You made me hate myself
I felt
I had
No reason to live
Because of what you did
To me
I gave myself the blame
Washing away my hopes
Washing away my dreams
After you
Molested me
You took a part of me
You took my life away
A drunk
I became
Drug user too
To numb what you put me through
Sex with boys
Thought I to do
What you taught me to do
Confused
Used
Lost
Never the same
Because of the shame
Of what you did to me
Washing away my hopes
Shattering my dreams
When you molested me
A whore I became
Thought I to do
Because of you
I trust no one
Not even in Jah
So much pain you left inside
From most of my life
Looking for love
In all the wrong damn places
Again
Used
Abused
The cycle continued
Because of you
Because of you
Suicidal I became
Washing away my hopes
Washing away my dreams
Because
Molestation happened to me
Let me tell you one damn thing
Let me tell you something
Yes you
The ones who keeping doing what they do
The one who choose to do
What you did to me
Molesting me
I wanna tell you something
Those chains today are broken
You can’t hold me down
I have hope
I have dreams
I
No longer suicidal
I rose
I overcame
There is no shame
There is no blame
To place on me
No desire to take my life
God brought me in this world
God will be the one to take me out
I trust only in Jah
For the rest of my life
Give no doubt
But a wall still stands high
Only to protect myself
Of what I have left
I stand!
For breaking the cycle
I stand against molester
You have no gain
You hold no key
To what I was meant to be
I stand!
For breaking the cycle
Breaking the chains
You hold no key
You have no power over me
I’m taking back
What you stole from me
My life
My joy
My ability
To love me
I stand!
Breaking the cycle
Break those damn chains
So every boy
Every girl
Every woman
Every man
Know
Things won’t remain the same
Things will not remain the same
My brothers
My sisters
Break the cycle
Break the chains

Last Night
Last night my heart spoke
Spoke truth
There was nothing I could say or do
Lacking the need to be held
Touched unveiled
Love Expressed
I have been neglect
Ignored
Misused
Played like a fucking fool
I laid in my bed
With paper and pens
No woman at my end
To give support
Tell me positive things
No fine ass female to tell me to stop
Baby don’t work tonight
I want to love you all night
Satisfied your needs
Make you scream
My heart singed
Came at me bold
Intensive
Beside itself
I didn’t weep
I listened
Understood
The loneliness of my heart’s desires
Affection’s request
But the one I wanted
I can’t get
I rather find your loving
I rather find your heart
Infatuation rang
Passion confessed
Inspiration politely asked
Hear my heart cry
Listen to it sigh
Don’t let my love pass you by
Last night
My heart let go
Said what was on its mind
This time
But O
What could I do
What should I say
When my heart has been broken
Too Many damn times
The ones I thought was my lady
Were never mines
O no
Love was never kind
Not to me
Deep affection gave me misery
Sexually never for filled
Tenderly
I sought
It left
My heart wept
Dreams of infidelity hunted me
Taunted me
Every moment of my life
Lies told
Bullshit unfold
My heart closed its doors
No longer wanting feel
But last night
Last night my heart spoke
Spoke truth
There wasn’t a damn thing
I could say or do
To give it comfort
Or say someday you will love again
Hell
I won’t pretend
Lie to my heart
Ever again

Ocean Crisstopher Tareyton was born in Houston, Texas on December 22, 1964.
Ocean showed musical acquisition at a very young age.
One day his mother found him in the kitchen on the floor with pots and pans.
The gift of a percussionist embraced his spirit.
When his birthday and Christmas came around Ocean’s mother purchased a drum set for him.
Ocean’s ability to perform on the drums grew tremendously.
At Woodson Jr. High School he also played the drum in the school band.
His ability to write poetry came when he reached the age of fourteen-years old.
It was when he turned seven-teen years old he was asked to publish his poems.
Ocean didn’t feel his literature was worthy of reading.
Therefore his path to explore himself as a writer didn’t come until 1997.
This came when he wrote his first story which was submitted to The Gay Black Female Magazine in Los Angels, California.
A reader who lived in Minnesota wrote to the editor regarding the story Ocean had written.
The reader felt Ocean should come to Minnesota to venture more into the path as a writer.
The editor send the reader’s letter to Ocean, after getting to know the reader he took visit to

My Muse
I dig the things you do
Your music on your radio
Soothes my mode
Knowing you’re in control
Takes me to the next level
During my creative tasks
My imagination won’t get off track
Keep on doing what you love to do
Never stop being you
Keep empowering
Don’t stop being the one
Who cares
Who shares
I got to be there
Supporting what you do
Because you are my muse
The one who inspires me
Drives me
Lead me to infatuate
It’s the way I escape
But never too late do I relate
To the reality
Of you and me
I’m way across town
You’re in a different world
Yet Christina you will always be my girl
My muse
Because I like how u do
What u do so well
Calm down Christina
I can behave myself
A few seconds ago
I just checked
Three days later from your birthday is mines
We December babies are one of a kind
Beautiful
Unique
Creative
Strong willed
Sensitive
And when we love
We love so deep
From the head down to our lover’s feet
Sometimes we can be so sweet
But don’t break our heart
Don’t tell us lies
Do not cheat on us
We might lose our mind
Break our heart
Push love apart
Away from what we held within
It could take awhile before we love again
My muse
I will not say I’m your number one fan
I will not say I know everything
All about you
All I know is you’re my muse
The one who inspires me
Turns me on
Keep pushin on
Don’t stop doing what u do
My muse

Is It- Poem by Ocean Criss Tareyton
November 5th, 2011 § Leave a Comment
Is It
It is my heart
That yearns to be loved
Stay who I am
Be true to me
Become who I was created to be
It is my soul
Which yearns to die
Pain hurts deep inside
All over my body and mind
Brother, pray to Our Father
I make it this time
Dust I came
Dust I go
All I asked
Father have mercy on my soul
It is my spirit
That pushes me to carry on
It is God who keeps me going strong
It is you Brother who keeps praying for me each time
It is my desire
That mourns for a love not made for me
It is hard to accept
Believe
Brother
A mate was not created for me
I’m here to endure with you
And God alone
Until you call me home
It is my life
That yearns to end
Long to say good bye
My eyes are filled with days of tears each night
It is I
Just in Case- Poem by Ocean Criss Tareyton
September 28th, 2011 § Leave a Comment
Just in case I don’t make it til tomorrow
It was nice meeting you
Strangers from different lands
Sharing their life on the internet tube
This was something I know many thought we could never do
America has had a break down
We didn’t pay close attention to its signs
Some of us were happy by just getting by
While most of was sick of the tries
Earth is loosing its foundation
Due to neglect
Have we failed the test?
This world was giving to us to share
To care
To be here for one another in times of despair
Once the hate and separation begun
Mother nature starting hurting for so very long
It took a long time before we notice it
Some of us still can’t believe this
Do you really think a divided nation can fix the trick?
Just in case
You forget my name
I’m the one who carried my cross
Carried the shame
Generation through generations doing the same
Just in case things get worse
Then it all ready is
I hope when it came time to give
You gave
When you thought you couldn’t help
You prayed
When voices could not speak
You said let freedom ring
For all women and men
Before I go I want you to know
Just in case
You have never heard these words from me
Maybe because you didn’t take the time to know who I am
What I believe
The message I received
From eternity
The Alpha
The Omega
Holy One
Walks among us
From dust til dawn
Some of you thought no one saw you
When you did your wrong
You have been deaf and blind for so very long
You forgot about Christ coming back to take us home
Just in case
You didn’t read this
